How to Enable the Dead by Daylight Playing Cards in Balatro
Balatro—the poker roguelite sensation that took the gaming world by storm in 2024—has introduced a new set of Joker cards inspired by Dead by Daylight as part of the Friends of Jimbo 4 update. These DBD-themed cards join other collaborations featuring Assassin’s Creed, Bugsnax, Critical Role, Fallout, Rust, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, and the eerie narrative horror game Slay the Princess.
Like the other collaborative decks, Balatro’s Dead by Daylight cards are themed around a specific suit—in this case, Clubs—and feature three iconic killers:
Jack of Clubs – The Legion
Queen of Clubs – The Huntress
King of Clubs – The Trapper
How to Use the Dead by Daylight Cards in Balatro
The best part? You don’t have to grind or complete any special challenges to unlock these cards—they’re available for free as part of the update. To activate them:
- Go to the main menu and navigate to Options.
- Select Card Customization.
- Choose Clubs, then flick through the collaborations to find the Dead by Daylight designs.
That’s it! Your deck will now feature three of DBD’s iconic killers.
